Baby Class - all dressed up

This week most of the kids came to Baby Class in their costumes. As you can see Lily is a penguin. Not the cutest costume on the block - but she is still so darn cute! haha!

Oh - to all of my "Naughty" friends, you are still welcome to trick or treat at my house. You'll just get the crappy candy. I would never turn a trick or treater down for fear of smashing pumpkins! :)

You shouldn't be trick or treating if...

You shouldn't be trick or treating if...

1. You are not wearing a costume
2. Your are dressed as a transvestite
3. You know what a transvestite is
4. You come as a pair, dressed as 'Flavor Flav & his Ho'
5. You know who Flavor Flav is
6. You use the word 'sexy' to describe your costume (Sexy Kitten, Sexy Witch)
7. You use the word 'naughty' to describe your costume (same rules apply)
8. You can grow a facial hair
9. You have more cleavage than a drunk bridesmaid
10. You put out your cigarette before you knock on the door

Sad, Funny and TRUE! Mickey and I always get a very entertaining group of Tick or Treaters. We usually have about 80 'kids' come to the door. We typically play cards by the door as we tally the numbers. I do love Halloween!! I can't wait for Friday night!

Happy Birthday Nanny Pat

Happy Birthday Pat!!!!

Sunday Drive to Grandma's

Last Sunday my mom, Lily and I took a drive to Iowa to visit Grandma Edna. Dave, Dorrie, Grant, Molly and baby Elliot were there. Lily enjoyed getting to know her 3rd cousin. Dave & Virgie Thom also took a road trip to see Grandma that day. We all had a nice visit and lunch.

Our 4th Anniversary

Today is our 4th Anniversary!

I will always remember October 23, 2004.

It was a cool rainy fall day, but that didn't matter. It was perfect! Every time we look back and talk about our wedding, we talk about how great it was. We had so many amazing friends and family there, participating, helping in so many different ways.
Mickey and I joke often about the song 'I Love you more today than yesterday'. It is so true. He is the best. I am the luckiest woman in the world to have my husband. I know that we have soooo many wonderful years ahead. I can't image what the future will bring.
It has been pretty wonderful so far:)

Love you Mickey!

Weekend Update

Thursday night Lily came down with a cold:( poor girl.

Friday she had her 6th month shots. Ouch. She always struggles for about 24 hours after her shots. Again :( poor girl. On a side note - we started with a new Dr. and I really liked her :)

Saturday - I was able to work in the yard a bit. Not finished yet, but I'm on my way.

Later that night we had a family date at the Minnesota Roller Girls Roller Derby. It was a blast!!!
Lily loved the music, lights and watching the girls skate around and around. This was a new thing for all of us, I think we all got a kick out of it. We saw a couple of my co-workers there. Thanks K for explaining the game to us.

Sunday - My mom, Lil and I took a road trip to Iowa to see grandma. (separate post)

I am so excited!!!

That's Right Folks...
New Kids will be here on Tuesday!!!
Let the party begin:)

I am so excited.

I'm So Proud of Colie

We have all tried it a time or two...or more... and never seem to win. I'm not sure why I feel the need to attempt to drop the claw, as I really don't need whatever prize I am aiming for. Well, I tried it last Sunday and failed. Then Colie stepped up to the plate and SHE WON a Very Soft Purple Elephant!!!! Yeah for you Colie! I am so proud! (PS - she gave it to Lily. How sweet:)

Kickball Camping 2008

You all know how much we enjoy our kickball, but more so is our awesome kickball team. They are all amazing friends and so much fun!

We had the perfect camping day/night. The weather was great. The night was full of laughs, games, music and rooster crows.

PS - Nicole & Louis - you were missed.

You know your a redneck if...

Hahah - Sorry Dad! You are not a red neck! This is just too funny not to post.
So my parents have these neighbors who have annual 'LAWN MOWER RACES!!!'
Yes - true. B4 the weekend my dad thought that there would be over 50 racing. With very little coercing, my brother talked my dad into racing. Dan even souped up the lawmower by adding a bunch of racing stickers. Hahaha!!!! Anyway - Dad took second in his heat - Woo Hoo! Way to go! Hahah!!! I was told that there was a band and the party was a blast! Maybe next year I will join in the fun :)
