Thank You Nanny Pat

(Nanny Pat, Lily, Grandma Edna)

As you know we have been blessed to have my Aunt/God Mother Pat take care of Lily for almost a year now. She is our very special "Nanny Pat". Lily loves her so much (we all do:). Well, the time has come that Lily is going to be starting at an in-home day care full time. It brings me many mixed emotions: Sad, nervous, happy and excited!

Mickey and I can't thank Pat enough for the love and care that she has given Lily. She is amazing! Also thank you to Uncle Lew for being such a big part of Lil's life. She is going to miss being with you both every day. Nanny Pat and Lily will still get many special days together. They have even talked about volunteering at a Nursing home.

Lily will be starting at an In-Home day care in Woodbury (Cheryl.) I feel very comfortable with her day care, she has a great set-up, a lot of experience and I am excited for Lily to be around the other children. I think she will do very well there. She starts this Tuesday. Wish her luck and say a little prayer that this transition goes well.

Thanks again to Nanny Pat! You are the best!

Road Trip

This past Tuesday Nanny Pat, Lew and Lily took a Road trip to Iowa and brought grandma Edna back. It was reported that Lily did a great job on the road. She slept a lot on the way down and talked a lot on the way back. I am so glad it went so well. Thanks for the fun trip!

Hello to my readers out there. I am so sorry that I have not been a great blogger lately. I am not sure what my excuse is. I will blame it on being lazy:)

I will do my very best to post some fun stuff soon.
