The GREAT Pumpkin Patch

My dad started this thing with Zoe a few years ago when he brought her out to the GREAT Pumpkin Patch - This would be in the back yard...hahah! He successfully grew GREAT pumpkins that year. She was so impressed and now buying a pumpkin will never do. Funny thing is that this year (and maybe last year too) dad's pumpkins were not so hot and he did BUY them at Econo Foods and placed them in the Pumpkin Patch. This year he even built a special wagon for the girls (well us all) to ride in on the way. It was a fun family adventure:) Thanks Dad (and mom too)- you are the best!!!!
PS - he also informed me that many pumpkins are struggling this year. So go get 'em while their hot!
PSS - It is very difficult to get a picture of all 3 girls in the GREAT PUMPKIN PATCH

BEST-DATE-EVER

OMG! I had the BEST date last night! My Boyfriend Blake came over about 7-ish. AND...He brought his parents...LAME! I guess it didn't matter though, my parents were hanging around too. I can't wait until we are older...anyway...He came over, we watched at each other from across the table while our chaperone's ate. I just love his smile and that dimple...oohhhhh... He even brought me a gift, a Moose, a book and some hand rattle things! I love it! I will sleep with my moose every night! We were able to play for a while. I showed him a few of my new toys. He seemed to enjoy them, but enjoyed checking me out even more:) We both ate and then I fell asleep. Sorry Blake - I wanted to stay up with you, I just couldn't. I can't wait until the next time!

ValleyFair!

Today Mickey, Zoe & I went to ValleyFair with Colie, Guido & Ronan.

It was the Prefect Day!

Guido works for Boston Scientific and out VF for a day (off season) every year. So the lines were nice and short. The weather was perfect! The kids had so much fun. Zoe LOVES rides and Ronan likes them too.

Funny Stories:

Ronan & Zoe were going to go on the Mild Thing (kiddie coster). We knew that Zoe would be all about it and Ronan might struggle a bit. They were going around 3 times and the Vally Fair guy told them after the first loop to give a thumbs up if they liked it or thumbs down if they needed off. As soon as they turned the last turn everyone thumbs shot up in the air, well everyone but Ronan. He was done! heheeee....

Hot Air balloons: Colie & I joined the kiddos on this ride. I had to giggle when I would look at Ronan and his panicked face. Poor little guy. It was too fast for him. When the ride was finished, he exclaimed that he would NEVER get on that again.

Apparently I was the only one who struggled on the ferris wheel. I have a slight fear of heights. I can handle a few coasters, but I hate being up there at the top waiting and rocking. I had to ask Zoe several times to stop kicking her legs on this ride. She didn't understand why..haha...I was the baby here!

So the kids were about to get on this train and ride around. No one was getting in the the engine seat - so I asked the guy if they could sit there. He said no. Next thing you know the big guy was climbing in, apparently he was the engineer! hahahaaaaa....

I think these two will get married someday!
Except that Ronan is playing hard to get - every time Zoe would go to grab his had, he would push it away. Heheeee...but...he would buckle her in any time he had the opportunity! :D

I am sure Colie will be posting about this too - so check out her blog:

Weekend Update

Friday: Lily and I hit a bunch of garage sales in SSP. As you know - I LOVE GARAGE SALES! I even get very excited when I see a bunch of signs on the big corner in town. I wanted to take a picture (there were at least 30 in one corner) but Mickey said that is NOT blog-able. So you'll just have to take my word for it.

I noticed a trend at Sale #8. About 5 of the places that we had been to had 'Billy Bass' for sale! haha! That cracks me up! Every cabin that I have ever been to has one of these...endless entertainment for all! hahaha...from now on I am going to start tracking how much they are going for. I may even pick up a couple. So watch out if you invite me to a wedding in the future, you may have a fishy surprise for you!
That night we had a family date at BWW. The Viking cheerleaders were there. We won a wrist sweat band:)

Saturday:
Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser put on by Nicole & Louis's Boat Club. It was Delicious & Fabulous! It was nice to hang out with them, as well as Trish, Dave, Blake, Donella & (D)Amanda. Great morning!

That afternoon we attend the Memorial Service for Brad Parker. This was very nice. It was a Celebration of Brad's life. It was held at the Fire Department in Fgtn (his home away from home.) Yes, there were tears shed, but truly it was a celebration, very uplifting and totally perfect! Cammi - you are so great!

Following that - Lily & I went to the Zweber's for a night of baby sitting. I love being with all of my girls:)

Mickey & Daniel went to a wedding for one of Dan's friends. From what I have been told they met EVERYONE at the VFW in Zombrota! Mickey said it was a blast. I bet it was. (Side note: this is why I LOVE small town bars. Nobody judges. Dan can walk into a room, be himself, talk to everyone & people embrace it! That is how life should be.) I think we all had a great night!

Today: ValleyFair!

Weekend Update

I'm going on vacation!!! Woo Hooo! Well, not for a while - March, to be exact. My college roomies and I have been talking about this for many years. We said that when we turn 30 (Ra - 29) we will take a nice week long trip! So we have started planning. Friday night Colie, Ra and I met up for dinner and then searched online for a while. Colleen joined us over speaker phone. I am so excited:) I think my excitement is heightened by the cooler temps as well....Viva La Mexico!

The rest of the weekend has been pretty lazy - perfect for the rainy weather. (a little shopping, laundry, cleaning, football and movie watching.) It has been a while since our last free weekend, so we are really enjoying this.
