1st Day of Day Care - Part 1 & 2

PART 1.
Day 1.
Lil started day care at Cheryl's on Tuesday June 26. It was a tough day. Many tears. Lil was a little anxious about things. She didn't eat very much, but she slept great. She did not want Cheryl to leave her side. It was a very hard day for her...and me too.

Night 1. Cheryl's son was taken to the hospital. He had a bad reaction to some medication. He was in the ICU at Children's for a couple of days. Thank God he is doing better now.

Wednesday - I stayed home
Thursday - Lily went to Kate's
Friday - Lily went to Nanny Pat's

PART 2
Day 1. Lily cried...but cried less than the first day and played more. Loved being outside on the swing.

Day 2. Lily ate more and had a better day than Monday. Again - enjoyed being outside on the swing.

Day 3. A little better and again ate more. When Mickey went to pick her up her new little friends were saying "Bye Lily." she waved. Loves being outside...

Day 4. Every day gets a little better. She enjoyed the reading time and playing games with the other kids.

I know she is going to enjoy her new daycare. I think it just takes a little time. She will adjust and love it there. :) She has already made a lot of progress. I'm so proud of her!
