Lily had a wonderful weekend with Grandma Ann & Grandpa Gary!!! They came to our place for the weekend to babysit. According to G-Pa Gary, Lily was an attention hog:) She was soaking it all up...and soaking in the sink! (Grandma gave Lil a bath.) She always enjoys the time she gets with them. Thanks again you are the best!!!
We had a wonderful weekend!!! The kickball team (minus Trish & Dave - Blake got sick:( We missed you guys.) rented a cabin in Birchwood WI. It was a beautiful cabin, just a year old. We had many laughs, great food, games, Wii, sledding, drinks and some Hot Tubbin'! It was a blast! Great team bonding:) Only 3 months until the season starts up again. Woo Hoo!
My good friend Brenda turns 40 this week!!!! Not until Saturday...so right now we are both in our 30's:) Haha! Sunday night (since we had Monday off for MLK Jr. Day) a group of us took her out for a celebration. We started at BW3's and then made our way to Pickle Park for a little Karaoke. The night ended with a Crave Case. (it was a good idea at the time.) It was a great night!!! I hope you have a great B-Day Hegg!
On Sunday, since it warmed up (for MN anyway) we decided to take Lily out for play time in the snow. Mickey and I had a good time pulling her around with a hockey stick in her baby bath tub. Lily was not as impressed with our outdoor fun. We did get her to laugh a little when we would slap shot the snow and make it fly into the air. Oh well - maybe next time she will like it:)
Hope & Scott were in town this past weekend! We love when they come home for a visit. As always - we hope one day they will be back in MN with us. Until then, we will enjoy our time with them and D&D.
On Monday, Lily was playing with the refrigerator magnets (like normal.) All of the sudden, I look over and she is just standing there playing! Oh my! Thank goodness I keep my camera at arms length! haha!
Tuesday at Nanny Pat's she stood a lot. I am so proud. I am sure it feels so good not to be on those roughed up knees. That night at baby class she was doing it again. She even took a couple of steps! I don't think it was on purpose - so we will wait for het frist "real" steps. She is so close!
My good friend Kate was/is in town this week. On Saturday Jen and I attended her baby shower:) Then on Sunday night she came over for a visit. Lily enjoyed meeting you Kate! I also enjoyed our conversation. I wish you the best on the new , exciting time ahead!
Nine Months old and always on the go!!!! Stand up, sit down, play with toy, pull books off the shelf, throw anything on the floor and chance me some more:)
Thanks mom, dad and Dan for watching Lily on New Years! I know she enjoyed hanging out with you and her cousins. Also thank you so much for the special B-Day cake!!! Oh - Very Special thank you to Zoe for wearing a B-Day Outfit for me:)
I think this has to have been one of my top B-days:) I swear! So many people celebrated with me. Thanks Ya'll. 30 isn't so bad:)
This year we went to a party at Donella & Dustin's for NYE. It was a 90's theme...Bring In 09 with 90!
Are you wondering why 90's was unique??? - Flannel Shirts - Scrunchies - grunge - Blossom! - Fresh Prince - Chris Cross - (clothes worn back words) - Bib overalls - 90210 style - Zuba's (early 90's)
Mickey and I went in old HS gear. And I wore my big curly perm hair. It looks just like Kate's did in HS:)
It was a great night!!!! Lots of Dancing, Food, Drinks and Special Entertainment:) Thanks to everyone for making my 30th B-Day a night I will Never forget! Great Party D&D
