I love Jamaica!!!!

This was the best trip ever!
Spending a week in Jamaica with the girls was amazing! We had so many laughs and great stories! The resort was beautiful, the water was blue, the sun was hot, the food & drinks were great and the people were the best!!!
I love Jamaica!

This is a pic from our day in Nigril. We didn't think we would need swimsuits for this day trip. We were wrong and wanted to get in the water. So we improvised with some Jamaican gear. We had many locals laughing at us.

The resort was huge. It had many different pools, bars, beaches & restaurants.

Rachel & Colie at 'One Love' in Nigril. This was the best place for lunch on the beach. We were able to visit with the locals, play domino's and enjoy the jerk chicken. The chicken was great, until I saw the chicken's foot on my plate. It was difficult for me to eat it after that.

Cliff Diving at Rick's Cafe. Wow! It was crazy how high these guys were when they would jump! The 4 of us did not jump (we didn't have our suits - only Jamaica gear) but Brenda & Debbie did!! I am so proud. We got there just as they were getting out of the water. Too bad we missed it. (to clarify - they did not jump from a tree.)

I think we may have learned a thing or 2 from these wild women! Haha! It was so nice to be at the Grand Palladium at the same time.

We learned how to look great in their bikini's! Hahaha!

And we learned how to drive the shuttle cars!!! Hands in the air! Hahah!!!

It truly was an amazing trip. Even though I missed my Lily and Mickey so much, I couldn't have had a better time! Thanks girls! I can't wait until our next trip!

Super Dad!

Mickey was home with Lily for the week that I was gone. Fri, Sat & Sun they went down to New Ulm to spend time with Grandma & Grandpa Wiltscheck. Lily enjoyed going for walks around the yard, watching the birds and playing with her grandparents.

The rest of the week they were on the go with the normal routine to work, Nanny Pats and Tiny Tot's class. Mickey did a great job of keeping the house neat for any potential showings. He is the best!

Speaking of showings: We had 2 while I was gone and an open house:) We have 2 more today! Yippee!

Jamaica!

Soooooooooo......it is here FINALLY! Colie, Rachel, Colleen & I are heading to Jamaica on Friday morning! In our early 20's we vowed that we would take a nice vacation together when we turned 30. So - saved a little money - got a little older - and here we are! Yippee! We will be staying at the Grand Palladium Jamaica Resort & Spa in Lucea. I know we will be enjoying a lot of sun and even more laughs! I can't wait:)

My aunt Ellie, Brenda, Debbie & Denise will also be at the same resort at the same time! Haha! This will be a great trip!

I am sad to leave my Lily though. I have not been away from her for a whole week. I know that I will miss them so much! She will be in great hands with her Dad and Nanny Pat! Mickey & Lil will be heading down to New Ulm to visit Grandpa Gary & Grandma Ann for the weekend. They will have a wonderful time.

House for Sale

After much discussion we have decided that we are putting our home on the market. We LOVE our house and are happy to stay put...but...if we are able to sell it, now is the time to do it. With the interest rates so low and the cost of homes down - it is a good time to upgrade to a place with a bigger yard and a few other things that would be more ideal for our growing family. This is sad, exciting and a lot of work. This house has had so many wonderful memories in the last 5 years, I am sure there will be many more to come. We can only hope and pray that we are doing the right thing. If we don't get an offer that we can afford, we will not be selling. If that is the case, we will be finishing our upstairs giving us more room. Either way we come out winners.

Busted...

The other day I busted Lil. She was pushing her doll rocking chair from across the room and climbed up to reach the top of her bookshelf. I couldn't believe it! I think she has been watching her cousins and learning a few things.
