Fun at the Fair!

I love the Minnesota State Fair!

The best people watching, food and a ton of cool things to see and do. On Friday afternoon Lil and I met up with Colie & Ronan for some fair fun. We also found out that my parents and Dan would be there too. So we spent 4 hours with C & R, then met back up again with the Waldschmidts and then ended the night with Grandma Mary. It was a great day!!!! Lily did such a great job. She just loves the fresh air (minus the barns! haha!) and watching people walk by.

PS - The chocolate covered bacon RULES!!!
PSS - Lil had her first encounter with Wally the Beer Man! Sweet!
PSSS - My TV crush (Mike Pomeranz - Kare 11) looks like a big dork in the picture. He asked me not to show it to anyone - but I had to. Sorry Mikey Sweety! hahah!

BEST PICK EVER!

Believe it or not - I am on a Fantasy Football League this year:) hahahaaa....I know - funny! I am pretty much clueless when it comes to football. So I have a support team of people as my behind the scenes helpers. Thanks everyone:)

The draft was last night. I think it went well. I dressed up in my football gear, complete with the clip board to hold my very important papers.

I had the first pick (lucky draw) and went with LT for round 1. Tony Romo was my second pick (Hotties :) . After that I forget. I will keep you updated, I am sure it will be very exciting. Right now all the others are shaking in their boots! Oh yeah - I am going to kick everyone's butts and win all of the $!

Thank you Donella for watching Lil during the draft. She had a lot of fun with you. You did great even with a 14 year time span between baby sitting jobs! hahah!

Baptism

This past Sunday was also Lily's Baptism. Again she did so great in church and with the baptism. Not one peep, not one tear and many, many beautiful smiles! So proud of you Lil! The Party at our place was also very nice! Thanks everyone for helping make it so special.

Thank you so much Gary, Ann & Amy for staying with us this past week to help with childcare. Nanny Pat was out of town and we were lucky enough to have great sitters for Lil.

Thursday Night

This past Thursday we had a Girls Night for work. It was so great catching up with all of my buddies outside of the office - well not all :( but many. We all click really well and seem to always have a great time on nights like this. Given the opportunity this group could get pretty wild! hahah!!! (My night was cut alittle short - Lily wasn't feeling the greatest) Anyway - it was a great time!

Lil Gear-Head

Lily spent the weekend with Grandma Mary, Bumpa Bill & Uncle Dan this weekend. (Mickey and I were camping - exciting Blog post coming soon...) She was also able to have a sleep over at the Zweber's place! Thanks everyone. She had a wonderful weekend!

Stoutie Camping

Every year my college roommates and significant others meet up in the middle (1/2 live in WI, 1/2 in the cities) and go camping. This year we went to Black River Falls - Lost Falls Camp Ground. Last year we were also here - but it dumped on us all weekend :( boo!
Good News: It was BEAUTIFUL this time!
It was a weekend full of laughs, great stories, letting loose with a drink or two, games, floating, and free chicken! It was a blast! haha!!! Thanks everyone! I can't wait until we all get together again, I miss all of you T-Hawkers...

Weekend Update

(Oh my Gosh - it has been a full week...oops!)
It was a wonderful weekend!!!

Last Thursday we not so wonderful though. Lil had her shots, she had a very hard day and night. This time around took her about 28 hours to recover. The poor things. No worries - she is back to herself now.

Hope & Scott McLarty were in town this weekend! Yeah! (If you don't know - Hope is one of my BFF's and they live in Chicago - so the time that they are here I cherish.)

Friday - still spend the day with Lily recovering. That night about 9-ish I meet up with the McLarty's at Donella's place to hang out for a few hours.

The next day we all went to the Dakota County Fair. I took Scott to his first demolition Derby maybe 7 years ago & almost every year they come back for more :) This is a big Fgtn event and back in the day my Brother would smash up a car or two. We all place our bets as to what car is going to win the round and then the finals! It is so much fun & GREAT people watching!!! hahah!!! (I have to report that a VERY classy woman in front of us was chain smoking the whole time and with 2 Cigarettes at a time!!! Oh my!) We ended the night at a townie bar. It was a great night!!! I love when they are come to town:)

Lily also had a great night with Grandma Mary, Bumpa Bill & Uncle Dan. We all stayed over night. The next morning we hung out with my parents, Dan & I took my Dad's car out for a joy ride (I Will have my own convertible some day - I love it!!!) and that afternoon went to my cousin's baseball game. It was a great weekend!
